Worked on the newton-physics/newton repository to enhance asset pipeline alignment and prepare for production release. Focused on configuration management and version control, the work involved updating the Go2 robot asset path to adopt the USDA asset file format, standardizing asset naming conventions for improved compatibility and future migrations. Additionally, incremented the Newton package version from 0.1.2 to 0.1.3 as part of the release process, supporting better build reliability and packaging hygiene. Leveraged Python to implement these changes, ensuring smoother deployment and integration workflows. The updates addressed asset compatibility and deployment readiness without introducing functional changes or bug fixes.
