Over a two-month period, contributed to BitGo’s Ethereum ecosystem by delivering targeted improvements in both code quality and governance. Developed robust EIP-1559 transaction validation in the BitGoJS repository using TypeScript, ensuring that maxPriorityFeePerGas does not exceed maxFeePerGas and adding comprehensive unit tests to abstract-eth and sdk-coin-eth modules. This work reduced invalid transaction broadcasts and improved reliability for users. Additionally, updated the CODEOWNERS file in the BitGo/eth-multisig-v4 repository to require ecosystem-ems team reviews on all changes, strengthening configuration management and auditability for public-facing, on-chain code. Demonstrated backend development and devops skills throughout both projects.

Consolidated April 2026: delivered robust EIP-1559 validation in BitGoJS with cross-field checks to ensure maxPriorityFeePerGas does not exceed maxFeePerGas, plus comprehensive unit test coverage across abstract-eth and sdk-coin-eth. This eliminates a class of invalid transactions that would fail on broadcast and improves reliability for users and service partners. All changes are tracked under Ticket CGD-573.
