During July 2025, Priyam Roy contributed to the TonyKat007/Astral-trails repository by developing a configurable Radiation Dose Comparator, introducing a Duration Slider that allows users to set custom mission durations in days for more flexible radiation risk analysis. This feature, built using Python, Pandas, and Streamlit, enhanced the tool’s adaptability for space mission planning. Priyam also addressed code quality by cleaning up trailing spaces in docstrings, improving readability and maintainability. The work demonstrated a focus on both user experience and technical debt reduction, delivering a targeted feature and a bug fix within a short timeframe while leveraging strong data visualization and code cleanup skills.
