Worked on security enhancements for the open-ani/animeko repository, focusing on proxy authentication and log hygiene. Developed a feature that encodes proxy credentials using Base64 and ensures authorization headers align with proxy configurations, addressing secure API development needs. Improved backend security by implementing masking of Bangumi access tokens in error logs, reducing the risk of sensitive data exposure. Added comprehensive unit tests in Kotlin to validate both header encoding and token masking, increasing confidence in the robustness of these changes. Demonstrated a security-conscious approach and collaborative development practices, contributing to higher code quality and alignment with established security standards.
