During January 2025, Programutox enhanced the lite-xl/lite-xl repository by extending CSS units support within its CSS language plugin. Focusing on Lua-based plugin development, they broadened the plugin’s recognition of modern CSS units and refined numeric parsing to improve syntax highlighting and editing accuracy. This update addressed the needs of frontend developers by reducing editing errors and aligning the editor with evolving CSS standards. The work demonstrated depth in parser updates and syntax highlighting, with attention to code quality and maintainability. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the contribution centered on feature enrichment and advancing the plugin’s capabilities.
