During August 2025, Peter Sørensen Jensen focused on code cleanup and refactoring for the NQCP-Phot-Git-Drivers repository, targeting technical debt and improving maintainability. He removed unused Python files and eliminated a duplicate module, aligning the codebase with existing implementations in related repositories. This work, driven by careful repository management and Python expertise, reduced code bloat and duplication, streamlining onboarding for new contributors and simplifying continuous integration workflows. By focusing on code hygiene rather than new features, Peter enabled faster future development and reduced maintenance overhead, ultimately lowering the risk of bugs and supporting more efficient iteration for photonic driver software.
