Worked on the streamr-dev/network repository to enhance the reliability and stability of GeoIpLocation tests, focusing on backend development and integration testing. Addressed a key bug by updating test references from suomi.fi to helsinki.fi, aligning with recent changes in geoip databases to ensure accurate and stable coordinate assertions. This adjustment reduced test flakiness and improved continuous integration outcomes, making location data validation more dependable. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript to implement and maintain these improvements, emphasizing robust unit testing practices. The work contributed to clearer traceability for future audits and streamlined onboarding related to geoip test updates within the codebase.
