Worked on the bemanproject/infra repository to enhance code quality by refactoring the beman-submodule script. Focused on simplifying conditional logic and standardizing formatting, the changes improved readability and ensured compliance with Python linting standards using Ruff. This effort consolidated the script’s style and structure, laying groundwork for easier future maintenance and reducing technical debt. The work was implemented entirely in Python, leveraging skills in code linting and refactoring to align the codebase with best practices. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but the improvements support more reliable CI checks and facilitate upcoming enhancements to the infrastructure code.
