In May 2025, Pubudu Perera developed the foundational database layer for the warehouse-management-BB repository, focusing on backend development and SQL schema design. He implemented the DatabaseUtil class in Java to manage database connections and initialize the schema, creating essential tables such as asn_data, asn_items, inbound_log, inspections, locations, and product_location. This work established the core data infrastructure required for scalable warehouse operations and ensured data integrity across inbound and outbound workflows. By leveraging Java, JDBC, and SQL, Pubudu delivered a robust backend component that supports future feature expansion, though the scope was limited to schema initialization without bug fixes.
