Worked on the pact-foundation/pact-js repository to enhance the Pact v3 API’s handling of date and time matchers, focusing on improving test determinism and output accuracy. Refactored TypeScript code to ensure that example values in matchers are correctly validated and reflected in generated JSON output, aligning outputs with Pact matcher types. Introduced robust error handling for empty example strings to prevent invalid outputs and adjusted the mock backend to return the exact example value provided. Leveraged skills in API development, refactoring, and testing to deliver these improvements, which collectively increased reliability and developer confidence in contract testing workflows.
