During February 2026, Pulsastrix developed a feature for the keycloak/keycloak repository that enhanced OID4VCI workflows by enabling nested claims support in the user attribute mapper. This work involved designing and implementing new Java methods to map complex, nested data structures within verifiable credentials, expanding the system’s ability to extract and process detailed user attributes. By updating relevant backend classes and integrating robust testing practices, Pulsastrix improved interoperability for clients relying on OID4VCI workflows. The solution leveraged Java and JSON for API development, addressing the need for more flexible data handling without introducing bug fixes during the period of contribution.
