Month 2026-03: Delivered core identity and deployment tooling enhancements for aws-samples/appmod-blueprints, delivering stronger security controls, streamlined bootstrap processes, and a stable upgrade path for AWS provider integrations. Key work spanned IdP integration with Keycloak and AWS IAM Identity Center, ArgoCD token automation, and Terraform provider constraints, resulting in faster, more secure, and reproducible deployments.

January 2026: Delivered the EC2 Instance Types Catalog feature for kubernetes/autoscaler, providing a comprehensive, user-facing catalog of EC2 instance specs (vCPU, memory, GPU, architecture) to improve instance selection, autoscaling decisions, and cost planning. Maintained data accuracy by updating the static EC2 instance list as of 2026-01-07. No major bugs fixed this month; focus was on data quality, governance, and maintainability. December 2025: Delivered the EKS Capabilities Management feature for eksctl, enabling programmatic lifecycle management of capabilities within EKS clusters (ACK, KRO, ArgoCD). The release includes API endpoints to create, retrieve, and delete capabilities, along with new configuration options, example YAMLs, and CloudFormation (CFN) workflow integration. Added tests and documentation, updated generated files, and fixed test coverage to ensure reliability of the capability API surface.
