Worked on enhancing the quiz feature in the scrumdojo/quizmaster repository by focusing on backend development and test coverage. Developed and integrated QuizControllerTest.java to verify retrieval and update operations for quiz data, directly supporting safer refactoring and more reliable continuous integration. Utilized Java and Spring Boot to implement robust unit tests, while also improving maintainability by removing obsolete code and unused imports from the test suite. This approach reduced maintenance overhead and minimized the risk of flaky tests, enabling faster development cycles. The work emphasized quality assurance and future-proofing, ensuring that critical quiz functionality remains stable as the codebase evolves.
