Peymaneh developed a permission-aware UI enhancement for the nextcloud/collectives repository, focusing on the visibility of the PageInfoBar versions link in public shares. By leveraging Vue.js and JavaScript, Peymaneh implemented logic that dynamically shows or hides the versions link based on both user edit permissions and the nature of the share, addressing gaps left by a previous incomplete fix. This approach improved the user experience by preventing irrelevant options from appearing in public shares and clarified permission-based UI behavior. The work demonstrated careful attention to frontend permission handling, code-level accountability, and clear commit traceability, reflecting a thoughtful engineering process.
