Developed and integrated a new build target for the LG Gram Pro 2026 within the thesofproject/sof repository, focusing on enabling full audio support for the 16Z90U-KU7BK model. Leveraging CMake and Linux kernel development skills, the work involved configuring a unique SoundWire audio topology with RT713 jack, RT1320 SmartAmp, and dual DMICs. Hardware-specific link settings and kernel machine driver naming were implemented, followed by comprehensive end-to-end validation of speaker, headphone, headset mic, and internal DMIC functionality using the UCM HiFi profile on Ubuntu 26.04. The solution was delivered as a dedicated commit and kernel patch.
