Worked on the nestjs/nest repository to enhance Server-Sent Events (SSE) functionality by enabling asynchronous validation and custom HTTP status codes in SSE handlers. Leveraged TypeScript and Node.js to allow handlers to return Promise-wrapped Observables, ensuring that validation occurs before HTTP headers are sent and supporting more flexible client interactions. Established an automated continuous integration pipeline that triggers on code changes, providing rapid feedback and early regression detection. Focused on technical reliability and business value, the work demonstrated proficiency in full stack development, async/await patterns, and CI/CD automation, resulting in more robust and maintainable SSE flows within the framework.
