During September 2025, Xiaofu Dawn enhanced the lacework/go-sdk repository by implementing the LQL Query Metadata Enhancement feature. Xiaofu expanded the API and backend data structures using Go to support new metadata fields for LQL queries, including query name, description, and usage context. This work improved the organization and discoverability of queries by enabling richer metadata and more flexible API interactions for creating and updating queries. The changes addressed developer needs for better searchability and governance of LQL queries. Xiaofu’s contribution demonstrated depth in API development and backend engineering, focusing on maintainability and alignment with the project’s evolving roadmap.
