Worked on enhancing the Android Studio auto-update process within the ScoopInstaller/Extras repository, focusing on improving reliability and reducing update failures for end users. The approach involved upgrading the supported IDE version to 2025.3.2.6, refining the version check mechanism by updating the checkver regular expression, and refreshing the autoupdate URL to ensure accurate and stable updates. Additionally, the license URL was updated to maintain compliance as part of the automation improvements. Leveraging skills in package management, version control, and JSON, this work streamlined the update pipeline, minimized manual intervention, and contributed to a smoother, more maintainable update experience.
