Qitian focused on internationalization and localization for the hacksider/Deep-Live-Cam repository, building a structured i18n framework to support a multilingual user interface. Using Python and leveraging skills in GUI and UI development, Qitian implemented a LanguageManager to manage translation loading and integrated translation functions directly into the UI. The work included adding a language selection control, allowing users to choose their preferred language and enabling scalable localization for future growth. This initial feature laid the technical foundation for global adoption, with careful attention to maintainability and extensibility, and included minor documentation improvements to support ongoing development and user onboarding.
