Qiye Tan focused on stabilizing build configurations across the facebook/CacheLib, facebook/fbthrift, and facebookincubator/cinderx repositories by addressing issues introduced by recent changes to Thrift and C++ serialization file naming. Using expertise in CMake and C++, Qiye reverted modifications that had altered generated file names, restoring original naming conventions to prevent build instability and misnaming in build outputs. This work improved artifact reproducibility and maintained serialization compatibility across multiple open-source projects. By prioritizing build system reliability and reproducibility, Qiye’s contributions reduced regressions and enhanced CI/CD workflows, demonstrating a strong understanding of build configuration and cross-repository integration challenges.
