Worked on the matteocrippa/firmware repository to deliver a KR920 regional transmit power adjustment feature in embedded systems firmware. Addressed compliance with KR920 radio frequency regulations by increasing the maximum transmit power from 0 to 23 dBm within the radio interface configuration. Utilized C++ for firmware development, focusing on low-level hardware control and radio frequency management. The update resolved a limitation that previously constrained transmit power, enabling both regulatory adherence and potential improvements in radio performance. The work demonstrated a targeted approach to regional requirements, emphasizing precise firmware modifications and a clear understanding of embedded systems and radio frequency protocols.
March 2025: Delivered KR920 regional transmit power adjustment in firmware to comply with KR920 regulations and potentially improve radio performance. Fixed the TX power limitation bug that constrained maximum transmit power.
