During January 2025, Q stabilized the continuous integration pipeline for neutron-org/neutron-integration-tests by addressing test failures caused by restricted data access. Focusing on backend development and testing, Q temporarily disabled two non-deterministic tests in slinky.test.ts to prevent unreliable results and maintain release momentum. Using TypeScript, Q ensured that overall test coverage was preserved while avoiding flaky failures, which improved feedback loops for pull requests and releases. The work included documenting the rationale for these changes and outlining plans to restore full coverage with mocks or feature flags once access is reinstated, reflecting a careful, risk-managed approach to test reliability.
