Worked on the speakeasy-api/gram repository, focusing on refining tooltip UI behavior to enhance user experience and maintainability. Addressed a tooltip text wrapping issue by replacing text-wrap: balance with text-wrap: pretty and adjusting the tooltip container’s maximum width, which improved readability and reduced overflow for long text. The solution was implemented using React and TypeScript, with careful attention to UI/UX best practices and CSS styling. Code changes were reviewed and merged after thorough verification across affected components, ensuring regression safety for tooltip rendering. The work prioritized maintainable frontend development and contributed to a more consistent and accessible user interface.
