Worked on the gofr-dev/gofr repository to deliver robust migration safety features for both Oracle and MongoDB-backed systems. Developed an Oracle Migration Lock Management System using Go, introducing a dedicated migration locks table and logic for acquiring, releasing, and refreshing locks to prevent concurrent migrations and reduce race conditions. For MongoDB, implemented migration locking with comprehensive error handling, refresh logic, and stolen-lock detection, while expanding test coverage to ensure reliability. Enhanced deployment safety by improving error visibility, context cancellation handling, and diagnostics, resulting in safer migration flows and better maintainability. Focused on backend development, database management, and thorough testing throughout.
