During January 2026, Timid focused on updating the withastro/astro repository by enhancing the Vercel adapter to support Node.js 24 as the default runtime. This work involved aligning the adapter with the latest Node.js ecosystem, ensuring that Astro projects deployed on Vercel benefit from improved compatibility and deployment reliability. Using TypeScript and Node.js, Timid implemented changes that allow users to leverage new Node.js features while maintaining a smooth deployment flow.
