Worked on the mastra-ai/mastra repository to deliver a Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) enabled chatRoute within the AI SDK, focusing on enhancing agent experience and conversation reliability. Developed event handlers for tool-call-approval and tool-call-suspended events, introducing new chunk types to support robust HITL workflows. Implemented resumeStream functionality, allowing agents to seamlessly continue long-running or interrupted streaming sessions using run identifiers. Emphasized release readiness by hardening event flows and ensuring proper chunk typing and option merging for resumed streams. Utilized TypeScript for full stack development and API integration, addressing the need for scalable, AI-assisted conversations without introducing new bugs during the period.
