Worked on the coinbase/x402 repository to implement Paywall URL Parameter Preservation within the Gin middleware, enabling query parameters to be retained during paywall redirects. Addressed the challenge of maintaining user context by updating the URL formatting logic, ensuring that all query parameters persist across authentication flows. Applied Go for backend development and leveraged middleware design patterns to enhance the paywall feature’s robustness. Developed and integrated comprehensive tests to validate the new behavior, increasing test coverage and reliability. This work improved the user experience by preserving navigation state and provided clearer telemetry for paywall interactions, supporting better retention and analytics.
