Worked on the apache/datafusion-comet repository to enhance SQL execution planning by implementing producedAttributes for the CometWindowExec component. This change ensured that execution plan attributes accurately reflected the actual outputs, improving correctness and enabling more reliable downstream processing and optimization within the SQL execution framework. The work involved backend development using Scala, with careful attention to attribute accounting and execution plan alignment. Collaboration was demonstrated through co-authored commits and active participation in code reviews, contributing to the reliability of the Rust-based data processing codebase. The focus remained on delivering measurable improvements to planner reliability and execution plan transparency in one feature.
