Worked on the ente-io/ente repository to deliver user-facing enhancements and stability improvements focused on face data handling and privacy controls in a mobile application. Developed a feature allowing users to select and ignore multiple faces in photo details, giving clearer control over visible faces. Addressed stability by adding a mounted check to prevent runtime errors when clearing selection mode and loading faces. Improved performance by grouping asynchronous operations with Future.wait, resulting in faster face data processing. The work leveraged Dart and Flutter, with an emphasis on asynchronous programming and state management to create a more responsive and reliable user experience.
