During November 2025, Rkselfhost developed new event data structures for Azure Event Grid System Events within the azure-sdk-for-js repository, focusing on Fleet Gate events. Leveraging TypeScript and principles of event-driven architecture, Rkselfhost enforced immutability on metadata properties to enhance data integrity and updated API documentation to accurately reflect the expanded event types. The work included manual package generation for Eventgrid System events, streamlining the release process and ensuring readiness for deployment. While the scope was concentrated on a single feature, the implementation demonstrated depth in API development and careful attention to consistency, maintainability, and the evolving needs of Azure services.
