Worked on the openstack-k8s-operators/architecture repository to deliver an optional Ceph backend storage integration for Scalelab’s OpenStack services, specifically targeting Cinder, Glance, and Nova. Focused on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, the work involved creating YAML configuration files and templates to enable seamless Ceph integration, providing scalable and flexible storage options. This approach simplified deployment workflows and laid the groundwork for storage elasticity in Scalelab environments. Leveraging skills in Kubernetes and OpenStack, the integration allowed for easier provisioning and management of storage resources, addressing the need for adaptable backend storage solutions in complex cloud deployments without introducing new bugs.
