Worked on the asyncapi/website repository to address a user interface issue affecting the RoadmapList component. Focused on front end development using React and TypeScript, the work involved fixing a bug where the component incorrectly rendered a '0' when no items were present, which could mislead users. The technical approach included targeted UI and logic cleanup, specifically refining the handling of the !== operator to prevent edge-case rendering problems. Collaborated closely with another contributor to ensure code quality and clear ownership. The result improved the accuracy of the roadmap user experience and reduced potential confusion and support requests for the project.
