R. Dissanayaka developed Universal Base Image 10 (ubi10) and ubi10-minimal support for the GeoNet/base-images repository, enabling broader platform compatibility and streamlining image delivery. The work involved updating the project’s CI/CD pipeline and DevOps workflows, specifically by enhancing the sync-ghcr.yml configuration to automate synchronization rules for the new images. Dissanayaka also revised the Markdown-based documentation to provide clear guidance on the new image options, ensuring easier adoption for downstream users. The engineering effort focused on maintainability and consistency, laying the groundwork for faster integration of future base images. The work demonstrated solid depth in CI/CD and YAML configuration.
