During April 2025, Rakis overhauled the AOS runtime and Lua environment in the permaweb/HyperBEAM repository, introducing aos-lite, enhancing Lua scripting capabilities, and adding a dump module for improved message handling and benchmarking. He centralized configuration management by migrating routing and preprocessor settings into a dedicated config.flat file, enabling easier resets and future updates. In the permaweb/ao repository, Rakis refactored the Connect Library’s request handling, simplifying dispatch logic and enforcing mainnet mode for reliability. His work demonstrated depth in Lua development, configuration management, and backend architecture, resulting in more maintainable systems and robust deployment processes across both projects.
