During February 2026, contributed to the openfoodfacts/open-prices-frontend repository by developing a Cross-Location Product Price Comparison feature. This work introduced a dedicated user interface that allows users to select two store locations and compare product prices side by side, supporting location-based pricing insights. The implementation focused on clean data presentation and maintainable code, utilizing Vue.js and JavaScript for front end development and API integration. By enabling data-driven visibility into pricing differences across locations, the feature supports merchandising strategies and decision-making. The approach emphasized a streamlined UI flow, robust input handling, and clear results display, enhancing the repository’s overall functionality.
