During January 2026, Smirnow developed and released a Strapi-based Authorization Community Plugin for the better-auth/better-auth repository, focusing on expanding authorization capabilities for community users. The work involved designing the plugin in TypeScript, leveraging community plugin development skills to integrate with Strapi’s ecosystem. Smirnow also enhanced the plugin’s documentation, clearly outlining author and usage details to streamline onboarding and improve discoverability for new users.
