During January 2026, h-data@gmx.net contributed to the home-assistant/brands repository by designing and implementing a new Winkhaus Doorclient Integration Icon. This work focused on enhancing the user interface through improved iconography, making the integration more discoverable and visually consistent with existing branding standards. Using SVG for scalable vector graphics and applying skills in graphic and UI design, h-data ensured the update was limited to frontend assets, introducing no backend changes or regressions. The contribution addressed the need for clearer feature representation, supporting smoother user onboarding and navigation. The scope was focused, with depth in visual design and branding alignment.
