Worked on enhancing navigation user experience in the SEMOSS/semoss-ui repository by implementing a tooltip system for sidebar and global navigation elements. Developed a dedicated function in TypeScript and JavaScript to dynamically generate contextual tooltip text based on each navigation item, improving accessibility and reducing user confusion. Addressed a related issue to ensure tooltips remain visible when the sidebar is collapsed, supporting usability in constrained workflows. Collaborated with other developers to align changes with Jira 727 requirements. Leveraged React and front end development skills to streamline navigation, enabling users to complete tasks more efficiently within complex dashboard environments.
