During August 2025, Raquel Selma-A developed statistics utilities for race data in the MartinCU990558/Laboratorio-CVDS-DOSW-01 repository. She built the CarreraParalela class and a supporting Stats helper to compute maximum, minimum, and count values from race datasets, introducing lambda expressions and Java Streams for concise, functional data processing. Her implementation included validation logic to ensure the maximum value is even and to track the parity of the dataset, laying the foundation for analytics-ready metrics and improved data quality. The work demonstrated a focused application of Core Java and modern Java features, delivering incremental, well-structured changes over four commits.
