During this period, work focused on enhancing the Financial-Times/dotcom-tool-kit repository by introducing a configurable Slack channel parameter to the Change API notification system. This feature allowed alerts to be routed to additional Slack channels beyond the default, improving cross-team visibility and reducing response times for tracked changes. The technical approach centered on updating CircleCI configuration files using YAML to support the new parameter, ensuring seamless integration with existing CI/CD workflows. No major bugs were addressed during this month, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and DevOps practices. The work demonstrated depth in CI/CD automation and notification system flexibility.
