Rasti Khdhr contributed Kurdish (Central) translations to the FreeTubeApp/FreeTube repository, enabling Kurdish-speaking users to navigate the application’s UI and settings in their native language. Working primarily with YAML and leveraging internationalization and localization best practices, Rasti integrated translations through Weblate and managed updates via Git. The work focused on expanding accessibility without introducing instability, as no major bugs were reported or fixed during the period. By strengthening the localization pipeline and collaborating effectively with translation platforms, Rasti improved the onboarding experience for Kurdish users and demonstrated a solid understanding of translation workflows and UI localization nuances within FreeTube.
