We migrated to a Rust-based validity proposer, consolidating the proposer into a monolithic op-succinct service with updated dependencies, CI/CD workflows, and docs. Proposer runtime improvements included a new DB URL environment variable, adjusted submission interval default, refined driver configuration, and improved L1 head estimation fallback. Web3Signer integration enables remote signing. The proof system API, lifecycle, and prover address updates improved the aggregation witness interface, lifecycle handling, and added prover_address in the L2 output oracle with updated last-range handling. A performance optimization replaced linear L1 head lookup with binary search (and renamed the function). Internal refactors and dependency upgrades included renaming to validity, memory and error handling improvements, library upgrades, and introduction of the OPSuccinctHost trait to support broader DA configurations. Documentation, CI, and maintenance updates, plus a database schema cleanup removing the eth_metrics table, completed this month. These changes deliver faster L1-L2 decisioning, more secure signing workflows, improved maintainability, and clearer deployment documentation.
