During February 2025, work focused on enhancing the Hack-PSU/apiv3 repository by developing an Organizer Verification Email Resend Endpoint. This feature streamlined the process for organizers to recover accounts and complete re-verification by generating individualized password reset links and delivering them through SendGrid. The implementation involved backend development using Node.js and TypeScript, with careful attention to security through per-user reset tokens and standardized email template rendering. By introducing a dedicated API route for resending verification emails, the work improved onboarding and re-engagement flows for organizers, addressing a key aspect of user account management within the project’s backend infrastructure.
