Worked on improving build system reliability and configurability for the ROCm/hipFFT and ROCm/rocFFT repositories, focusing on Windows toolchain support. Introduced a feature that enables users to specify the HIP installation path via the HIP_PATH environment variable, which is converted to a CMake-compatible path and used to set the correct ROCm bin directory. Addressed a bug by prioritizing HIP_PATH over HIP_DIR for toolchain discovery, reducing build failures and simplifying onboarding. Leveraged skills in build system configuration, environment variables, and CMake scripting to standardize HIP_PATH handling across repositories, enhancing cross-platform consistency and maintainability for Windows-based development workflows.
