Developed and integrated SNMP-based monitoring support for the FS S3400 Series within the librenms/librenms repository, expanding device coverage and improving data collection accuracy. The work involved updating YAML-based device discovery definitions to enable automatic identification of FS S3400 devices and incorporating the fs-bdcom MIB for precise metric polling. SNMP simulation data was provided to validate polling accuracy and enhance integration testing, ensuring reliable onboarding and alerting for new hardware. This feature-focused contribution demonstrated skills in SNMP, MIB integration, and network monitoring, with a thorough approach to development, validation, and repository integration over the course of the month.
