Developed a structured reasoning content format for DiffusionGemma thought channels within the unslothai/unsloth-zoo repository, focusing on enhancing chat user experience by enabling collapsible reasoning sections and preventing raw thought marker leakage. Leveraged Python for back end and API development, implementing robust separation of thought channels from the main content stream to ensure clarity and token-boundary safety in both streaming and non-streaming modes. Collaborated with external contributors to validate and document the approach, aligning with OpenAI-style reasoning extraction and llama-server compatibility. This work improved content clarity, user trust, and established a foundation for broader adoption in chat UI architectures.
