Rayyan developed a guest checkout feature for event registration in the adobecom/events-milo repository, enabling users to RSVP without logging in when guest-checkout metadata is enabled. Using JavaScript and front end development skills, Rayyan implemented a customer-facing flow that maintains security while reducing friction for non-logged-in participants. The solution uses metadata gating to toggle the feature, ensuring it does not affect existing logged-in flows. All changes were isolated and well-documented, supporting maintainability and ease of deployment. This work addressed the need to boost event participation by simplifying the RSVP process, demonstrating thoughtful application of front end engineering principles.
