Worked on expanding device detection capabilities in the librenms/librenms repository, focusing on increasing monitoring coverage for Eltex MES network devices. Developed and updated YAML-based OID mappings and device detection logic to support additional models, specifically the 3300-24F, 2308P, 2324P, and 2348P. Leveraged configuration management and network device detection skills to streamline asset visibility and reduce manual configuration requirements. All changes were managed through Git-driven workflows, ensuring traceability and maintainability for future deployments. The work improved monitoring reliability for new device models, laying a foundation for broader network management and supporting ongoing enhancements to device coverage.
