Delivered a standard vnetRouteAllEnabled parameter across six services to centralize control of virtual network routing behavior, enabling customers to govern route propagation across VNets and strengthening security/compliance. Implemented through automated commits and integrated into deployment automation, reducing manual steps and configuration drift.

April 2025 monthly summary focusing on infrastructure quality and deployment reliability. Delivered standardized ARM template reference parts across five core repositories, enabling consistent deployments and compatibility with reference resource definitions. Implemented reference parts in das-aodp-jobs, das-aodp-api, das-recruit-api, das-aodp-web, and das-providercommitments, aligning IaC with latest Azure requirements and improving governance. Addressed a deployment reliability bug in das-providercommitments by ensuring reference parts are present in the template, reducing failure modes and retries. Demonstrated end-to-end automation through automated commits across all repos, supporting faster provisioning, safer changes, and easier rollback. Technologies demonstrated include ARM templates, Infrastructure as Code, Azure resource deployment, and cross-repo automation. Business value realized includes more predictable environments, faster onboarding for engineers, and stronger compliance with IaC standards across the stack.

This month, I delivered a CI/CD overhaul for Payments in the SkillsFundingAgency/das-apim-endpoints project, introducing a centralized, template-driven deployment framework for the Payment Outer API across multiple environments (AT, TEST, TEST2, PP, PROD, MO, DEMO). The changes enable automatic deployment on code changes to src/Payments and add dedicated deployment pipelines, improving consistency, reliability, and maintainability of releases.
