The solution involved verifying the installed app’s identifier using JSON-based configuration management, which reduced false negatives in host inventory reports. This update improved the reliability of fleet’s inventory system and streamlined maintenance. The work emphasized careful bug fixing and clear documentation, with auto-generated release notes providing an audit trail for future reference.
